This beautifully handmade candle sculpture depicts a small forest owl.  The 2 inch size makes it easy to find a space for on your mantle, bookcase, or dresser.  Beeswax candles are a true joy to burn. They burn cleanly for many hours and they smell slightly of honey without any added fragrance. Unscented pure beeswax candles (such as this one) are hypoallergenic.

Every candle in this shop is handmade with care and intention by Farmer Laura and contains a sprinkle of magical wax from The Strawberry Moon Bees.  Your purchase helps to fund the free educational publications on this site and the many ecological restoration projects on the farm.

Please allow slight variations in measurement and appearance due to the handmade nature of these candles. The color of beeswax varies from batch to batch, depending on the type of combs that were melted to produce the candle.  To get the most out of your candle, burn it for 2-4 hours at a time. In between uses, trim the wick to approximately one quarter inch.  Candle holders are highly recommended to protect your furniture in the event of dripping wax.  Never leave a burning candle unattended.
